Now to continue where I left off in the earlier post...
My mum had prepared a simple yet appetizing meal. One of the dish and a must-have is the
rendang. My favorite. Every year, morning of Hari Raya, without fail, that dish will be on my dining table. It kind of lift up my spirit of Hari Raya a little bit. HaHa. *BURP* After eating, my body feels heavy and decide to choose a suitable place to land, which is my bed. Slept for awhile. When I woke up, it is time for us to go to my grandma's house.
BUT before we do that, it is time for me and my siblings to get the green packet from our dad. Wait, that is not the main thing. The seeking for forgiveness part is. Most of the time, when I am down on my knees, thinking all the wrong doings I have done to my parents, it just give me the sense of regret. I mean, sometimes I do not have enough patience to control my action/speech and vent it all on them. Nevermind, forgive and forget. Another thing is, I think there is something wrong with my mechanism for teardrops. Tears just would not fall.
my tears won't fall, they crash around you. What is wrong with you Hafiz !!! But something makes my eyes watery a little bit. The tears rolling from my mum's eyes to her cheeks, during this 'forgiving session'.
Now lets put the sad moment aside and bring joy to the day. As I said earlier on, firstly went to my grandma's house (Mum's side). It has been quite some time since I visited her. Only once a year! What a 'good' grandchild I am.Haiz..
Next, went to my other grandma's house ( Dad's side). Usually there will be a lot of people there but there was a little bit of change. The amount kind of decrease a little. Not sure why. Chit chat, hear people talk, eat. That is what basically I did there. Oh ya, there was one additional person there. A French guy. My cousin's friend. Well, did not really talk much with him but it is kinda cool to have a foreigner celebrating Hari Raya with us. He actually follow us when we do the house visiting. Last stop was my house. Only one of my aunty's family came. That French guy got to taste the
rendang! And it is kind of weird to see him using his hands to eat. HaHa. Not to forget the
kueh-kueh that he gets to try. Sadly say, this year there are not many kueh in my house( because somebody were suppose to help but did not come! LOL!! ) After eating, we played with the sparklers/
bunga api. I am surprised that my little sister was not afraid to play it. In fact, she was the one who ask my dad to buy it! Played awhile with my sister, brother and the French guy. Want to do something stupid with the sparklers but could not think of any. Finish playing, just relax at the living room watch television.
School was awesome!! because I did not go.HaHa. Sorry guys. I may have said that I want to wear the
Baju Kurung to school but in the end I did not turn up. Thousand apologies. I guess the
kueh-kueh I ate yesterday have a strong dosage which makes me cannot wake up on time. To all my malay friends,
bila mahu pergi jalan hari raya ?
